The MAD Blog Awards

The MAD Blog Awards are back for 2020!

Ten years after the very first MAD (Mum and Dad) blog awards, the original and (we think) most exciting awards for UK parent influencers are back!

This year, we’re inviting you to nominate your favourite parent influencers in a range of categories.

Since the MAD Blog Awards launched in 2010, more than 10,000 bloggers and influencers have taken part in the awards, with millions of nominations submitted.

This year we’re inviting you to nominate influencers in 12 categories, designed to reflect the amazing influencers in our community.

How do the MAD Blog Awards Work?

Stage 1: During January, we invite UK parenting influencers and their audiences to nominate in the awards, and share with us their favourite parenting influencers across a range of categories, covering everything from parenting to food and photography.

Stage 2: The bloggers in each category with the most nominations, along with one blogger selected by our judging panel, are shortlisted as finalists. There will be five finalists per category.

Stage 3: We invite the public to vote for their winner in each category, with the exception of our Influencer of the Year award. The finalists and overall winner of this award will be judged by the Tots100 team and invited judges.

The winners of the MAD Blog Awards will be revealed at an awards ceremony attended by the finalists and invited guests. Further details will be announced nearer the time!

So You Know...

As you've likely heard and seen, there's an increasing focus on the authenticity of follower growth and engagement on social platforms across the Influencer Marketing community. The platforms themselves have taken measures to deter inauthentic activity and brands now more closely scrutinise the audiences of the influencers with whom they are partnering.

The Flea Network has implemented a system that will detect abnormal spikes in following and engagement, and flag these properties. Of course, such spikes can often be attributed to viral posts or high-profile brands that bring greater exposure to some content.

If one of your social accounts is flagged by our system without an obvious reason, we may reach out to you for assistance in understanding it. If we find any influencer has artificially inflated their audience size or engagement using paid acquisition or automated, third-party tools, we will remove them permanently from our influencer community.

Feel free to reach out to us at with any questions or comments.

Thank you!

The Flea Network Team

Got it!
