With the summer holidays in full flow we all need a bit of help sometimes to keep the kids occupied, especially on those rainy days that we’ve been having recently! What better to fill an hour or two than some fun summer craft activities? Our Bostik crafters have come up with some simple activities you can do with the children this holiday and they all use the brilliant Blu Stick. This clever glue is blue when applied (but dries clear) so little eyes can easily see where it’s going and hopefully avoid making too much mess!
Ice Lolly Bunting
Summer is definitely the time for ice lollies, and this super cute bunting from Suburban Mum is perfect for a bit of summery fun. You can find full instructions over on Maria’s blog here.
Easy Peasy Lollipop Craft
Next we’ve got another lollipop craft – this time from Georgina at SEN Resources Blog. These pretend lollipops really are easy peasy to make. Just cut out a lollipop shape and let the kids go wild! Blu Stick is great for sticking all kinds of different materials so really the only limit is their imagination.
Tropical Paper Snowflake Bracelet
This delightful tropical bracelet from Blue Bear Wood is definitely a bit more fiddly than the lollipops but would make a great craft for older children this summer. You can find a full how to for these over on Anthea’s blog.
Ladybirds, Button Cards and a Weather Mobile
This month Susan has come up with three fabulous summer crafts for kids. This awesome paper plate ladybird is great for little ones, while the button card and weather mobile would be fab for slightly older kids. This wonderful selection of crafts just shows how versatile Blu Stick is too – it really can stick almost anything! For instructions on how to make all these crafts head over to Susan K. Mann.
Pikachu Desk Tidy
After a busy crafting session we’d all love our kids to tidy up too. Well Jenny has shared this brilliant Pikachu Desk Tidy which hopefully will encourage them to do just that! Pop over to The Gingerbread House for complete step by step instructions.
