MAD Blog Awards: We Announce the Finer Details!

MAD Blog Awards 2015

We are one week away from the highlight of the year that is the MAD Blog Awards.  Next Friday will see our amazing finalists and lucky competition winners dressing to impress at the red carpet event at the prestigious Royal Garden Hotel, London.  The talented finalists will be wined and dined with a drinks reception and a three course meal that our foodie bloggers will be proud of!

This year there were close to 250,000 votes cast– and over 8,000 individual blogs were nominated across all award categories and after months of waiting the worthy winners will be announced after dinner.

This year  Tots 100 are delighted to announce that the awards will be hosted by no other than the fabulous Helen Lederer. Helen is probably best known for her role as the dippy Catriona in Absolutely Fabulous in which she appeared alongside Jennifer Saunders in all six series, as well as creating the ‘Girl at the Bar’ in Naked Video.  Helen is known for her unique wit and observational humour which is why we are sure that she will be the perfect host for the most exciting night in the parenting blogging calendar.

Helen will be with us throughout the evening and will present the awards to the deserving finalists. So scrub up, pull out your most glamorous outfit and come ready for an evening of entertainment whilst we celebrate the best of the best. Don’t forget your dancing shoes as we want to see you all having fun on the dance floor until the bar is drunk dry!

Every day of the week, Good Reads brings you the best and brightest content from Tots100, the UK parent blog network. Our community of more than 7,500 parent bloggers have a combined monthly audience of more than 10m readers, writing about everything from parenting to politics, food and fashion.

(In a strange twist, turns out the DoC is travelling to a secondary Academy, just like the one I work in, on Friday 16 whilst I hoof it up to her back garden in Kensington!! Just amazing that Helen Lederer is presenting – love her. Yippee!!

So You Know...

As you've likely heard and seen, there's an increasing focus on the authenticity of follower growth and engagement on social platforms across the Influencer Marketing community. The platforms themselves have taken measures to deter inauthentic activity and brands now more closely scrutinise the audiences of the influencers with whom they are partnering.

The Flea Network has implemented a system that will detect abnormal spikes in following and engagement, and flag these properties. Of course, such spikes can often be attributed to viral posts or high-profile brands that bring greater exposure to some content.

If one of your social accounts is flagged by our system without an obvious reason, we may reach out to you for assistance in understanding it. If we find any influencer has artificially inflated their audience size or engagement using paid acquisition or automated, third-party tools, we will remove them permanently from our influencer community.

Feel free to reach out to us at with any questions or comments.

Thank you!

The Flea Network Team

Got it!
