What are you doing for the summer holidays?

Take part in our new #DXBDreams Blogger Challenge and you and your family could be jetting off to Dubai for a fabulous family holiday!

With gorgeous beaches and family-friendly hotels, Dubai is perfect for a summer getaway without breaking the bank. So we’ve teamed up with Dubai Tourism to help spread the word – and find out what you and your family would love to get up to during a holiday in the city that offers it all – beach, culture, desert and adventure.

Perhaps you’d head to one of Dubai’s incredible beaches to soak up the rays before splashing down and cooling off at the city’s amazing water parks.

If you’re a foodie family, then you’re sure to be tempted by the eclectic range of restaurants – from traditional Emirati street food, fine dining and burgers on the beach to family-friendly Friday brunches.

Or how about an unforgettable adventure? In the desert, you can sand surf on the dunes or take a camel safari, while back in the city you can check out Ski Dubai, the Middle East’s first indoor ski resort.

For retail therapy, you need look no further than the majestic Dubai Mall where as well as enjoying a world class selection of stores, you can even get up close and personal with a giant octopus or king croc!

Whatever your family loves doing, Dubai has the experience for you – and at surprisingly good value, thanks to some fab summer discounts and upgrade deals for families.

  1. apart from spending time on the beach & popping to the shopping malls the Dubai Atlantis a visit to Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo would be a high priority followed by experiencing dolphins & everything else at the Aquaventure Water Park. We`d also love the opportunity to take in the views from Burj Khalifa & see how it compares with The Shard. Dubai exceeds dreams!

  2. I’d love to visit Dubai although not in July! my little one loves our fish tank so I’m positive she’d love to visit the Aquarium and underwater Zoo. I’d send my husband to the beach as he’s got an Irish background and his skin is paler than my fridge – a little bit of tan please! And for me… Well, I heard in Dubai there’s the tallest tennis court?! 🙂

  3. The idea of lazily waking up with my husband next to me, my little boy the other side and the sun shining through the windows is too much to bear!! Dubai? Wow. What a fantastic prize- the stuff dreams are made of.

My 6 year old son is obsessed by supercars and hammers and anything car relayed but particularly ferrari’s (he wants us to name our second child enzo!!!) so we would definitely love to visit Ferrari world! He would also absolutely love to do a half day desert safari I am sure. By god I can’t imagine the excitement!!

Personally I would love to relax in a water park like wadi wadi at the Palm or Dolphin bay! Wow to swim with dolphins! I remember putting him in a lazy river when he was two and him loving it. The idea of being able to spend a day in that heat staying cool would be amazing!

Then there is the sea plane! My husband would be thrilled by this. A sea plane? And someone is going to win this? How unbelievably lucky.

For me? It would be the free option. It would be watching, remembering and smiling as my family live the holiday of their dreams.

  4. Dubai the place of dreams

    I’m guessing there’s a theme

    Sun, beach, sea and heat

    Wine, cocktails, fish and meat.

    Sand dunes, shopping and boats

Posh hotels, gold and goats (?)

A holiday I would love to win

Lets rhyme that with my name Lynn.

    Xxxx
