The 2016 MAD Link Up

mad blog awards

The word is out – after many, many thousands of nominations, you have chosen the finalists in the 2016 MAD Blog Awards.

Our finalists include bloggers new and old; men and women from every part of the country.

Once again, they show the true diversity of UK parent blogs, writing about crafts, technology, politics, parenting and everything in between.

Voting is open for four weeks, and we urge you to check out all of our finalists – especially those who might be new to you – before casting your vote. We’ve invited all of our finalists to link up their favourite posts, and any posts they might write about the MAD Blog Awards – all you need to do is click on the icons below to visit their sites.

We promise you, there are some fantastic blogs just waiting to be discovered. Check out their posts, linked up below, wish your fellow finalists good luck, and generally get out there and be social – it’s what blogging is all about!

Sally Whittle is founder of the Tots100, Foodies100, Trips100 and the Flea Retreat. When she's not working, she can be found blogging at Who's the Mummy, or having fun with her 13 year old daughter, Flea.

  1. Thanks so much for setting up this linky Sally. Fab idea. You might want to remove my cocktail menu post as it’s from a year ago and I’ve just noticed in your email. it’s recent posts only. Cheers! Prabs

So You Know...

As you've likely heard and seen, there's an increasing focus on the authenticity of follower growth and engagement on social platforms across the Influencer Marketing community. The platforms themselves have taken measures to deter inauthentic activity and brands now more closely scrutinise the audiences of the influencers with whom they are partnering.

The Flea Network has implemented a system that will detect abnormal spikes in following and engagement, and flag these properties. Of course, such spikes can often be attributed to viral posts or high-profile brands that bring greater exposure to some content.

If one of your social accounts is flagged by our system without an obvious reason, we may reach out to you for assistance in understanding it. If we find any influencer has artificially inflated their audience size or engagement using paid acquisition or automated, third-party tools, we will remove them permanently from our influencer community.

Feel free to reach out to us at with any questions or comments.

Thank you!

The Flea Network Team

Got it!
