One week down one week to go! If, like me, you’ve still got a week left before the kids go back to school, you may well be looking for some great ways to keep them entertained – especially with the weather being a bit of a disappointment. I’ve spent some time visiting some blog posts from our Tots100  bloggers over the last week or so and have put together 20 brilliant craft activities for you to do with your kids just incase you find yourself at a loose end!

  • This Cardboard Box Bus will keep your little ones entertained even when the paints have been put away!
  • Keep your kids amused at breakfast time with these adorable Egg Hats.
  • Have a go at making this Pretty Vase and give it to someone special.
  • Kids keep asking for a pet? Get them to make their very own Pine Cone Pets and they should stop asking for a while… maybe!
  • It’s still really cold out so why not help the little birdies by making them some Bird Seed Cakes? The kids will love to sit and watch them being eaten!
Pipecleaner Space Hat - The Boy and Me

Pipecleaner Space Hat – The Boy and Me

  • Fancy letting the kids get messy? Then how about creating some Gloop?
  • How about getting creative with the kids train set? Jennie and the twins show you how to Paint with Trains in this fab post.
  • Still on the subject of trains, have a go at making them a Train Tracks Small World in a cardboard box – this looks like so much fun!
  • Fans of The Gruffalo will love this Gruffalo Craft Activity made out of toilet rolls. You’ll be acting out the whole story before you know it.
  • If you’ve still got some of the blasted white stuff, get them outside and make a Snow Volcano - a fun science lesson!
  • Who doesn’t love Daffodils? They’re so bright and cheery! Recycle those egg boxes and make these Egg Box Daffodils.
  • All kids love masks, don’t they? Let them have a go at decorating their own – A Mummy Too shows you how.
  • Get them to frame their artwork with these Cereal Box Picture Frames and make their very own little gallery.
  • Lastly get the kids thinking again with another science experiment – this time Dying Flowers.

Well that’s it from me, I’ll see you back here next month with another great selection of crafts . Enjoy and, as always, if you have done a great craft post on your blog leave us a link so we can see it. Who knows, you may see your post here next month?!
