We know that Tots100 bloggers are a thrifty bunch, so we were delighted when the people at Swagbucks invited 12 of our bloggers to take on the challenge of earning as many Swag Bucks as possible in the run-up to Christmas.
By making a few small changes to your web habits this Christmas, you could make a real difference to your festive budget – and one of the changes we’re challenging parent bloggers to make is to sign up with Swagbucks.
What is Swagbucks?
Simply put, Swagbucks is an online loyalty reward website, that lets Internet users earn points (called Swag Bucks) for doing the things they are already doing online, such as searching, watching videos, looking for products and playing games.
As a Swagbucks user, every time you do one of these things online, you can earn Swag Bucks – which can be traded in for gift cards for online retailers such as Amazon.co.uk.
Swagbucks has been running in the US since 2007 and is one of the country’s top 100 trafficked websites. Since 2007, the company has paid out more than $26m in rewards to its members – and now Swagbucks is available in the UK!
What’s the Challenge?
From today, 12 of our favourite Tots100 family bloggers will be competing to become the biggest Swagbucks earner. The blogger who has earned the most points by 5pm on December 14, 2012 will win a fabulous £250 gift card for a retailer of their choice.
Our bloggers will be working hard, and finding out the best ways to earn the most Swagbucks – and sharing their tips with you guys via their blogs.
So don’t forget to follow #SwagbucksChristmas on Twitter to find out how you could earn some extra cash in the coming weeks.
