There are lots of websites and brochures and TV ads promoting family days out across the UK – but which ones offer the best value for money? How do you know whether an attraction will keep your kids entertained?
This month, the Tots100 has teamed up with Moneysupermarket.com to find Britain’s Best Days Out.
We’ll be providing free tickets to hundreds of our members, and inviting them to get out and about with their families to try out some of the UK’s best family attractions. Our bloggers will be sharing their reviews over the coming weeks and months, and we’ll be highlighting the best reviews here on the Tots100 website.
As well as enjoying a great family day out, our bloggers also have the chance to win £2,000!
Moneysupermarket.com is offering a fantastic prize of £2,000 to the blogger who writes the most creative, entertaining and inspiring review for the Britain’s Best Days Out promotion.

How to Get Involved
All you need to do is apply for a set of tickets by completing the form below, and if your application is successful, your published review will be entered into our competition. [Full competition terms and conditions can be seen here]

Thanks. I had applied! So looking forward to get pick!
Thanks Eileen!
Do you just fill in the red form? (is that the email or do we need to send an email separately?)
Just fill in the form – if you have problems, do drop us an email
I’ve tried to apply. Think I’ve messed up the form!! I filled in the first Half and accidently pressed submit before selecting my choices. That’ll teach me for trying to multitask and feed baby at the same time!! I’d like the opportunity to review an aquarium either the one in Portsmouth or any sealife centre. Third choice Marwell zoo. My little one loves watching fish in the fishtank. Think he’d love to see big fish!!

Hi Amy
The form didn’t come through so you should be able to complete it again – we did get a blank form, but I deleted it!
Have submitted mine- what a lovely treat for those involved!
I know – we’re so excited about this project!
Shame there are no attractions listed in Dorset or Hampshire. Other than a National Trust attraction I can’t find any others suitable.
Hi Karen
There are a few options, including Weymouth SEALIFE, Blue Reef Aquarium in Portsmouth and Go Ape Junior in Dorset, along with the National Trust properties. There’s also quite a bit of choice if you look at Somerset and Sussex.
Hi Sally! This looks great and I’m desperate to be in the running. I was filling in the form and I somehow clicked off the screen, when I went to complete my application it said I had already applied. Is there a way I can re-submit please, as the application you have from me has no preferences. Many thanks, Rachel.
Have deleted, so you can fill it in again
Thanks Sally – sorry for being such a nuisance!
So after all that I used the wrong email address. I have nothing to blame but I will certainly try to blame something…. tea too hot perhaps? Dinosaur Train too convincing and now I fear dinosaurs walk among us? No? (Will apply AGAIN!! I promise I’m usually quite efficient!!)
I applied! I hope I did it correctly and moreoever, I hope we get the chance to do it! Thanks:)
I think I have applied. What a great opportunity! Thank you x
Hi Sally, have a question: does the attraction which is to be revewed have to be on the list provided? What if we want to review something which is not on the list? I am thinking of taking my guys to the Blenheim Palace/park during the mideterm break, if the weather is not too bad. They always have the Halloween activities. Would you be interested in a review?
cheers
And sorry for all the typos, Eddie’s jumping on my knees, I don’t see the screen
No problem – to be eligible for the competition, you need to review something on the list and have tickets provided by us, yes. And we don’t mind typos round these parts!
Have put my name down – my girls & I already reviewed some of our summer holiday days out this year
We’re up in Edinburgh for Half Term so perfect timing!
Help! I am hopeless on this little sleep. I managed to not see the list was scrollable (is that a word?) and missed the fact that Marwell was on the list. Can I change mine to Marwell, West Midlands Safari and Warwick Castle instead? Sorry, I ran out of coffee today.
Great! I have applied… fingers crossed for Longleat, we have never been and would love to go! x
Entered! I think! Hope to hear from you soon
Sorry to be a pain but still won’t let me enter!! I completed the form and my email and blog address came up highlighted in red with the following message: this field requires a unique entry and this value has already been submitted.
I have no idea what I’m doing wrong
my choices would be
Aquarium – Portsmouth
Any other sealife centre
Marwell zoo
I’m particularly keen to take little one to an aquarium as he could literally stare at a fishtank for hours!! I hope we can get this sorted so I have a chance of participating.
Kind regards,
Amy
Hi, please would it be possible to check if my form came through? It didn’t do anything when I pressed submit, but then when I tried again it said I’d already applied! Thanks!
Filled my form in via my phone – hope it arrived ok
I filled out form… But not sure it went through…as phone crashed…please can you check..
Thank you
Sent through via my iPad, hope it got to you ok
Woohoo! We got The Deep in Hull. I would like to know what we have to do next, Is there a format we have to follow. Where do we link them up etc etc? Thanks again, we are looking forward to our day out.
I didn’t get picked this time! Well done to all who did!

Thank you so much for the opportunity to do this.
We had such a fantastic time at Marwell and here is the link to my post http://www.chelseamamma.co.uk/2012/11/britains-best-day-out-marwell-wildlife.html
Waiting on our tickets, can’t wait to use them as an excuse and visit Edinburgh again!
Hello there, I wonder if anyone could advice me on this – I have applied for it, filled up the form in October and yet have not hear anything. Could you please let me know whether my application was received? Thank you.
