Welcome to the new Tots100 website!

It’s about time!

We’ve been running the Tots100 website for almost two years now and we felt it was high time for a fresh look!

We’ve tried to focus on keeping our familiar Tots100 look and feel, while making the site easier for you to use. So, what’s new?

MORE GOOD Reads

You’ll see that we’ve created a brand new ‘Good Reads‘ section on the site, which replaces our old blog. We wanted the site to include more content from more members of our community, and for you to be able to find more content, more easily.

That’s what Good Reads is all about.

Each section of Good Reads (tech, family, living, thrifty, work and competitions) has its own editor, who is responsible for finding the very best content to share with our readers. We’ll be introducing our new editorial team very soon!

Content in each section will be a mixture of content from the Tots100 team, guest posts, brand opportunities and the very best posts from Tots100 bloggers.

Tots100 editors will be reading blogs and looking for great posts to share, but we’d also love you to tell us about your own posts – using the Share a Post button that you can see on the sidebar, as well as on our Facebook page.

To Share a Post, just click on the share button and tell us your post’s URL, and what section it best fits into. If your post is selected by our editors, it will be published in the Tots100 Good Reads with a full link back to your blog. We’ll also share posts on Facebook, Twitter and our other social networks, making this a great way to find new readers.

Posts shared on Tots100 via the Share button will all be no-index, which means the posts on our site won’t appear in Google search results – this is to ensure we don’t harm the ranking of your own site, and posts.

MORE Competitions

We have a number of incredibly exciting competitions to help celebrate our relaunch. You could become a Center Parcs family blogger, which means you and your family will get to enjoy a stay at a Center Parcs resort over the next 12 months. And that’s not all – you could be taking another blogger and their family along with you, too!

Don’t miss our Big Fair Bake baking challenge – come up with a recipe using Fairtrade ingredients, and you could win a hamper of Fairtrade baking goodies and £200 worth of cookware – and your readers could be winners too, with a KitchenAid blender up for grabs on the Fairtrade website.

As if that wasn’t enough, we’re also teaming up with Sterimar this month, to invite your little ones to get creative. MORE EVENTS

We’ve polished up our tots100 events page, and this will be the place where you can find out about forthcoming social and networking events like our upcoming Christmas Lunch (Sssh!), the Bloggy Family Day Out (even bigger Ssh!) and our inaugural Spring Fling (Ssssssshhhhhh!). The events page is also where you’ll get all the details into our forthcoming  BlogCamp events. We are deep into planning for our 2013 BlogCamp schedule and we have some really exciting events planned for you all. Our events are open to all Tots100-registered bloggers.

MORE blog goodness

We have more plans to extend the Tots100 community and website in the coming months – and you’re a big part of that! We want to know what new features you’d like to see, what content would be most useful, and how we can help you make the very most of your blog. So don’t forget to get in touch – we love to talk!
