You may have heard of Saying Goodbye in recent weeks, if you’re on Twitter.
Saying Goodbye is a non-profit organisation that is currently working to create a series of services of remembrance around the UK, for all those who have suffered the loss of a baby, during pregnancy, childbirth or infancy.
These national services recognise what so many of us sadly know – that losing a baby at any stage is traumatic, and early loss is often not discussed.
Here at Tots100, we’ve teamed up with Saving Goodbye to highlight and share your posts about early loss. Over the next month, we’ll be sharing some of our bloggers’ stories about their experiences, and encouraging those who would like the opportunity to celebrate their babies’ lives, to grieve and to remember, to find out more about the national services of remembrance.
Some of our bloggers have direct experience of loss, while others are writing from the perspective of supporting a friend or loved one. We know that during times of loss, parents often turn to the Internet for information, and we hope that our bloggers’ voices will provide comfort, inspiration and inspiration to those in need.
If you would like to help spread the word about Saying Goodbye, we’d love for you to share your own posts about miscarriage and loss in the comments to this post, or by Tweeting us. We’ll share all your posts on Twitter and Facebook, and in a round-up post at the end of the month. You can always email us, too.
If you’re writing about miscarriage or loss this month, we’d also love you to consider using the badge below so your readers can find out more about Saying Goodbye, and our bloggers’ experiences.
We’d like to thank all the bloggers who are taking part in our Heart Prints blogging carnival – and we’ll be kicking off our first post later today over at Mum in the Madhouse.
Make sure you’re following us @tots100 to see all of our posts during September.

I am thrilled to be a Saying Goodbye Champion, spreading the word about the services; but I am also pushing for churches in this country to offer memorials and support to families whose babies die. I gave a talk to church leaders this summer about it And shared my story; here’s what i said llmcalling.blogspot.co.uk/2012/09/a-baby-dies-how-do-we-mourn-talk.html?m=1
