So – want to know what brands got the UK’s top parent bloggers talking in June?

Following the same trend as last month, we’ve seen a cultural move away from traditional sponsored posts, but an increase in the number of successful  brand-blogger relationships through competitions, reviews and events.

We took the output of the Tots100′s top 100 blogs in June and analysed which products and brands were talked about most frequently. The results don’t measure sentiment but do give us an interesting insight into what bloggers are talking about – and how those conversations are being shaped by PR and marketing campaigns.

Right at the top this month was Micro Scooters, not only for their popular review campaign, but also because they happen to have a truly excellent product and great customer service – all of which mean our bloggers love talking about them.
Lansinoh also had a prominent review campaign in June for their breastfeeding products, and Britax worked with Tots100 bloggers on raising awareness of the new forward facing Trifix seats.

Harper Collins sent out the most talked about book this month, with a big campaign on the latest release of the Hobbit in preparation for the film release later this year.

Knorr ran a superb Cookery Masterclass with Marco Pierre White in June, which proved very popular with both the lucky bloggers invited, and with those enjoying the tips (and those photographs of The Man) afterwards!

The Lego DUPLO team should get a special mention for outstanding PR action – instead of sending another batch of toys to their DUPLO Experts panel, last month they sent a lovely pampering hamper of Burt’s Bees products to the bloggers themselves instead.

Without further ado, then, here are the top 25 brands from UK parent blogs in June:

Interesting index. I’m surprised that BritMums didn’t make an appearance on the list. BritMums Live was well talked about in June – with more than 26 million impressions on Twitter in 48 hours and nearly 200 parent bloggers writing about it on their blogs, including loads that are on the Tots 100.

      Morning Susanna!

I’ll take a look at this for you. We tend not to list blog networks on the index but we DO list events, so I can double check whether Britmums Live made the cut. Well done on your event, though, those seem like incredible numbers! (Unfortunately, Laura’s power just cut out for the day, so I can’t ask her until tomorrow, though)
