After the success of our BlogCamp events in 2011, the Tots100 team decided to make BlogCamp (a bit) bigger and (even) better in 2012. So we’re delighted to announce our first BlogCamp for 2012, a full-day event that will take place on April 21, 2012 in Birmingham.
Like previous BlogCamp events, BlogCampUK will be completely free for Tots100 and other independent bloggers, with the focus firmly on lively conversation, practical advice and, erm, cake.
No matter how long you’ve been blogging or why you blog, there’s loads of great advice and inspiration at BlogCamp.
Want to make more money from blogging?
We’ve got sessions on working with brands, handling advertising and writing reviews that won’t alienate your readers. Our speakers will also provide brilliant advice on using your blog as a platform to earn money, whether that’s through e-books and e-courses, paid blogging or partnerships with brands.
Want to improve your creative skills?
We have professional photographers, image editors and designers on-hand to help you make your blog look beautiful, and inspiring bloggers who will provide tips on building an audience and creating kick-ass content.
Need technical tips?
We have sessions on self-hosting, video editing and SEO techniques that will help you get to grips with the geeky side of blogging.

Want to hang out with other bloggers?
It’s not all hard work. BlogCampUK will have a spacious networking area with plenty of comfy seats and tea and coffee on tap. There will be plenty of time to chat, and catch up with blogging friends new and old. Lunch is on us, and will provide a great opportunity to chat with our speakers and sponsors. Finally, we’ll be organising informal drinks after the workshop for those of you who still have the energy to talk!
At the end of the day, we’ve teamed up with the 4* Radisson Blu hotel to offer a special discount to BlogCamp bloggers, so you can stay overnight for just £65 for a single occupancy room, or £95 if you share a room.
Interested?
We want to give people plenty of time to work out if they can attend BlogCampUK before accepting any bookings, so registration for BlogCampUK will open after Christmas.
If you want to be first to hear when booking opens, then make sure you’re signed up to our mailing list (if you’ve already joined, please sign up again, being sure to tick ‘BlogCampUK’ on the form).
You can find more details about our BlogCamp speakers and sessions over on the BlogCamp website, and you can follow the BlogCampUK feed at @blogcampuk or using the hashtag #BCUK
We’re hoping lots of you can make it!
