mummy blogger brand index

Want to know which brands and products got British Mummy and Daddy bloggers talking in September?

Every month, the Tots100 index of UK parent blogs reveals which brands are most talked about on our member’s blogs. The results aren’t a measure of sentiment, but the Tots100 Mummy Blogger Brand Index does allow us to see which brands British parents are talking about most frequently – and how that conversation is being shaped by PR and blogger outreach campaigns.

Top of the Brand Index this month is Facebook – not because of any blogger outreach, but because bloggers have been busily chatting about changes to the social networking site, and how they affect their blogs and online relationships.

Other top brands this month include Persil, which has been inviting Mummy bloggers to review its new product range. Other review programmes that have worked well this month include the new Winnie the Pooh movie,  and a range of sponsored review posts for Vileda. Angel Delight has tried an interesting project in recent weeks, giving influential bloggers a sneak peek of its new ice cream product months before it hits the shelves – which has generated some positive coverage.

Mummy bloggers have been busy attending events this month, too. Furniture store Harveys teamed up with TV characters the Zingzillas to give bloggers a day out, while Tilda invited some Mums to a cooking class, and TK Maxx invited seven finalists in the MAD Blog Awards to travel to London for a day of trying on dresses.
