Flea Enterprises

This month we’ve teamed up with the world’s No. 1 brand in pre-school construction toys, MEGA Bloks, to offer you the chance to win a family day out at Drayton Manor, home of Thomas Land worth £98, plus a whole load of MEGA Bloks toys, including the triple gold award winning Classic Maxi Bag, Fill ‘n Dump Truck and the popular Play ‘n Go Table.

What’s more, MEGA Bloks is on the lookout for its very own ‘MEGA Mummy and Daddy Bloggers‘ and will be using the Blog Hop to find you! The search is on for parents with kids aged 1-5 to take part in an exclusive partnership with the brand to receive new and popular toys for review, along with family days out and many more great prizes.

MEGA Bloks has been creating award-winning, high quality, value for money construction toys for little hands with big ideas for more than 25 years. The popular building system is a multi-levelled family of construction products that grows with your child as they develop during the most important years of their life. Every step of the way, MEGA Bloks toys promote learning, discovery, imagination and creative play and each toy provides unique and complementary opportunities for learning and development.

How to enter:

If you’d like to get involved this month and be in with a chance of winning, please write anything that inspires you around the theme: Learning through Play.

Learning through play is a term widely used to describe how a child can learn and make sense of the world around them. Through play children develop social and cognitive skills, are able to mature emotionally and gain the self-confidence to try new experiences and environments. What stories, pictures or films do you have that show how imaginative play with your little ones helps them grow and learn?

You can write a new post, or share a gem from your archives – so long as your post celebrates imagination and learning. Simply leave a link to your post using the widget below, and make sure your post includes a link to this Blog Hop to confirm your entry.

The winners will be chosen by MEGA Bloks from all the posts submitted before 5pm on March 30th 2011, and will be announced on this blog.

Please note, this competition is ONLY open to registered Tots100 bloggers who have completed a profile on the site. Click here to register your blog.

Good Luck!

I just wondered if you can submit a post that has been used as a guest post? Many thanks

Yes, you can, the prize will go to the author in that case.

The author is me but I am guest posting on another site, can I submit that as my link?

Hope my photo of Max playing with playdough is ok – it’s such a huge thing for him with the autism and sensory problems he has!

Gorgeous photo, thanks for sharing it!

I have submitted my link but only just realised I need to add a link to Tots100 – how can I add this on now?

    • Posted 22 March 2011 at 9:39 am | Permalink

On your blog? Just edit your post – that’s fine. It’s just so that when we go through the entries to judge, we can be sure people wanted to enter!

Can you submit more than one?

Sorry I meant to explain, the reason I ask is that where I have my guest post won’t add the blog hop link, because it is considered as advertising so I am worried my entry won’t count.

Ok, have come up with a solution. I am allowed to put my guest post on my blog, so will link up with that! Would you be able to remove my entry for ‘easy science experiments’ so I don’t have two entries! Thank you so much and sorry to cause issues!

Nearly forgot to include the link back to here, off to edit now. Great topic.
